The crank does not lock in the right hand position that it came in, I had to switch it to the left hand position. I am finding this reel to be very difficult to use. Very high gear ratio (one crank turn = 4 spindle). Line unspools whenever I cast it. Not a very good replacement reel.

I used Daiwa spinning reals when I was young. Just now got back into fishing with my grandson and purchased this medium spinning real by Daiwa. It is as good as I remember in my younger days. No problems, casts without problems easy to real back.
