Not for piston seals on spring-piston guns.

Will diesel inside the compression chamber, creating smoke and possibly damaging the piston seal.

Good for pretty much all other seals though. Won’t harm synthetic O-rings etc.

For lubing compression chambers you need a silicone-lube.

I have not tried this product, but thought that I would share some info. Gamo’s air gun owners manual is very clear on the use for this oil. It states, and I quote…”apply a small amount of Gamo special oil to the barrel pivot, the two cocking lever pivots, and trigger pivots. NEVER apply oil to the breeech or cylinder. NEVER PUT ANY OIL INSIDE THE BARREL OR CHAMBER! You should never put lubricating oil inside the chamber!” The manual also states that the proper cleaning method is with proper sized cleaning kit, patches, gun solvent with oil, pushed through from the muzzel end, and ok’s the use of a bristle bore brush attachment to remove residue. I would ASSUME that all oil and solvent should be completly removed from barrel before firing the gun. This is all the details listed by Gamo in the instruction book. If there is something new or something I missed, let me know!! Hope this helps. I rated it 2 stars only because of the vague description for the use, but if it is a Gamo product I am sure it is top quality for it’s intended purpose

Personally I prefer a heavier spring oil, and a lighter air chamber oil, but this works great as an all around oil. It gets a tad sticky after a while but no more than expected.
