Not for high insteps, hard to get off, September 29, 2015

Overall, this seems like a fairly nice boot, but I couldn’t get them to fit and had to return them. I have a very high instep and have to get 2-3 full sizes larger to even get them on. I was hoping the zipper on these boots would negate some of that and only ordered one whole size larger than normal. Unfortunately, the zipper doesn’t go far enough down the sides to have much affect on the instep area. I was able to get them on with GREAT difficulty, but they were far too tight and that’s when I found another issue with these boots.

The back of the boot (outside) is very smooth and slick. You cannot use the toe of the other boot to take them off. You can’t use your other foot, either. Even without a sock on. After fighting with them over an hour I had to call someone to come help me. That didn’t make it easy, but we managed to get them back off. Unless the boot is so loose on your foot that it can flop around when you walk in them, I don’t see how you will ever get them off by yourself. That’s my experience with them anyway, YMMV
