Definitely great for the price. 100% worth it. 5 bucks? Can’t beat it!

However, this knife does have a couple of VERY MINOR flaws. As does any knife.

First off, this knife should be used primarily as an EDC knife. It’s great for such a purpose – the half-serration makes it fine for opening packages/cutting string/whatever else you may need. I did try cutting some things right out of the box with this knife, and while it cut paper perfectly, the serration sometimes got in the way since it takes up ~50% of the blade. I also opened a few packages with it (cardboard, of course) and it works just fine. Great for EDC use or something that you may need around the house.

However, I did want to test the coating on it since it’s black. It’s made of 440 Stainless Steel so you can sharpen it rather well. I did have an empty 16-ounce aluminum can that I cut straight down the middle. Cut pretty well, but there were tons of scratches left on the blade that were painfully noticeable. After rubbing it away with your fingers though, they disappear. Very interesting!

The weight is fine, not too heavy nor light. Very solid, the lockup is okay but if you flick it out too fast the lockup does screw up a little bit – nothing major at all, just becomes harder to unlock. The belt clip is very tight, makes it somewhat hard to get onto your pants or pocket, but easy to get off and won’t come off if you’re running or something. May loosen after breaking it in, though.
    There is absolutely zero bladeplay!

The blade has a thumb stud on either side of the blade so even lefties can use it. It flips out somewhat fast, but it’s definitely not slow. Overall I gave this knife a 4/5 for the minor flaws that could have been avoided. Amazing value for the price!

Definitely recommended, give this knife a try if you need one to carry. Great value, solid and sharp knife. Nice job, TacForce.

The lockout mechanism just barely holds the blade in place and doesn’t always hold. It looks like it doesn’t fit properly. Maybe I got a defective knife but I immediately returned it. I don’t need the blade closing back on my fingers.

Good looking knife but the safety latch is not working properly used the assisted open option and the blade does not lock into place. I cut the plan of my hand due to the latch failing!
