Fly fishing for carp is very different from fishing for other fresh water fish. Fishing for carp requires stealth, patience, and accuracy.
Improve your learning curve. Read this book. Learn the basic tactics and carp behavior. A wise investment for all fly fishers.

When I ordered this book I really did not know what to expect, since I have never order a book about fishing period. I received the book and read it in about two days. It is an easy read and give you a lot of information. I understand the method Kirk Deeter used to write this book, as I have used it in the past as well. He gives you enough information to get you going and very interesting, but leaves enough room for you to learn even more on your own. For example here in Japan, the Carp do not act exactly like the Carp in the US. Most of the information provided is for the States, but a lot pertains to me here in Japan. Over all, good book and would recommend it to all who want to catch Carp on the fly…

    Tight lines…
