Fits the Remington 742 with a new synthetic stock and forend. Not much else to say. You may want to put some loctite on the threads though because the bolt will come loose over time.

Great little addition to a deer gun, the sling makes tromping through the woods a litte easier. Front sling mount is very straight forward and mounted very easily, unscrew the existing and screw in the new one. The rear one required drilling a hole in the stock and screwing in the stud, follow the direction included and went smoothly. Sling hardware not the best I’ve seen and not the worst, but is very workable. Good product.

Parts look fine and feel solid. No complaints about quality or packaging. But the front sling bolt is too long. When screwed in as far as it will go the swivel sticks out of the stock by 1/2+ inch. Which, of course allows the stock to slop back and forth. I tried using the original screw in the swivel but that scerw isn’t long enough to start in the threads with the swivel on it. Just no way to make it work with existing parts.
